Kitchens

Induction Cooktops
• Use the magnetic cookware provided — induction only works with magnetic pots and pans
• If a pot is not heating: wipe both the pot bottom and the cooktop surface completely dry
• Induction boils water extremely fast — keep an eye on it!
• Always use trivets under hot pans to protect surfaces

Water
• Reverse osmosis filtered water is available at the kitchen sink — excellent drinking water
• Downstairs kitchen only: run the hot water for 1–2 minutes after arrival to clear the line
• Two separate hot water tanks means essentially endless hot water

Garbage Disposal
• For small residual particles from rinsing dishes only
• Never put food scraps, grease, or debris down the disposal
Other Kitchen Notes
• Electric wine opener is on the downstairs counter
• Both kitchens are fully stocked with cookware, utensils, bread maker, rice maker, food
processor, and more

• Spices, oils, and cooking essentials are provided
Please note: condiments (mayo, ketchup, butter, etc.) are not provided. This helps us
maintain the highest cleanliness standards and ensures you have fresh products of your own preference.

Please bring your own beach towels.

nearby. Save your receipt and we’ll reimburse you!

All equipment used at your own risk.

Waste & Recycling

Keeping Gulf Coast Friends Outside

Our beautiful state forest location means that palmetto bugs and land crabs occasionally try to
come inside — especially during periods of rain. They are harmless but unwelcome indoors!

• Please close exterior doors promptly when coming and going
• This is the single most effective way to keep outdoor critters where they belong
Thank you for helping protect our home and our natural neighbors.

Visitors & Additional Guests

We are flexible about visitors and experiences such as hairdressers, massage services, caterers and similar — but please inquire prior to your stay. All visitors require advance written approval. A deposit or fee may apply.
